Before You Begin
Before starting the application, please take a moment to review the information below.
The Dr. Marvin Lott Scholarship Program is designed to support students who are committed to continuing their education and investing in their future. We encourage applicants to complete the application thoughtfully and honestly, sharing their goals and experiences in their own words.
To ensure a fair and accurate review of financial need, applicants are required to submit Page 1 of the parent/guardian’s IRS Form 1040, with Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) listed on Line 11 clearly visible. Only the parent/guardian name(s) and address must be visible. Social Security numbers may be covered or redacted. All submitted documents are properly secured.
Scholarship announcements will be made during the first week of May. Due to limited funding, we are unable to award every applicant. Not being selected is in no way a reflection of who you are or your potential, and we strongly encourage all students to continue applying for other scholarships and opportunities.
Please note that all required documents must be uploaded as PDFs. Screenshots will not be accepted. Applications missing required documents or submitted in an incorrect format will be considered incomplete and will not be reviewed.
If selected, scholarship recipients will be required to submit a high school graduation headshot photo for recognition purposes.
Please review the “How to Successfully Complete the Dr. Marvin Lott Scholarship Application” video prior to submitting your application to ensure you fully understand the requirements.
