Women Who Build recognizes women whose leadership, service, mentorship, advocacy, and dedication continue to strengthen our communities.
In addition to celebrating their accomplishments, honorees partner with The Bridge Builder Collective to help expand opportunities for youth and families through mentoring, scholarships, STEM education, workforce development, and community support initiatives.


The Donald D. Stone Jr. Community Service Award honors individuals who embody the spirit of selfless service, leadership, and unwavering commitment to strengthening their communities. Named in memory of Donald D. Stone Jr., this award recognizes those who consistently dedicate their time, talents, and resources to improving the lives of others while inspiring positive change.
Recipients of this award demonstrate a passion for service that extends beyond personal gain. Through volunteerism, mentorship, advocacy, civic engagement, or charitable work, they have made a meaningful and lasting impact on the communities they serve. Their actions reflect the values of compassion, integrity, and servant leadership that Donald D. Stone Jr. exemplified throughout his life.
Presented annually by the The Bridge Builder Collective, the award celebrates individuals whose commitment to uplifting others helps build stronger families, schools, neighborhoods, and communities. Honorees serve as examples of what can be achieved when people dedicate themselves to making a difference and creating opportunities for future generations.
